How to Manage Your Premium Plan

Checking Your Plan

Go to Settings and select Premium. This shows what plan you are on and when it ends. If you are on the free version, you can select Choose a Plan to start a Premium subscription. If you have a web subscription, you can select Manage Billing to change your plan or cancel it.

Plan Types

All plans except Free contain the same features.

  • Free – The free version of the app.
  • *Premium Trial – The trial version of the app.
  • **Monthly – Payments are made monthly for Family Tools Premium.
  • **Yearly – Payments are made yearly for Family Tools Premium.

*At the end of the trial, you will not automatically be charged. You will instead be put back on the free version and can upgrade to Premium any time.

**After Monthly or Yearly, it may specify what platform the subscription was made on, such as “Yearly (Android)”. If it does not specify Android or iOS, the payment was made on a web browser.

Subscription Management

How you manage your subscription will depend on where you purchased it. Currently, Family Tools offers subscriptions directly through our website, the Google Play Store, and the iOS App Store.

Premium Trial

You cannot cancel or modify your premium trial. It will automatically end after 14 days. No charges will be made at the end of your trial subscription period. You may start a paid subscription during your trial by following the instructions above for Checking Your Plan and selecting “Choose a Plan”.

Web Subscription

Go to Settings and select Premium. You will see a button labeled “Manage Billing”. Select this to go to a management screen where you can change your plan or cancel it.

Android Subscription

This cannot be done through the app and must be done through the Google Play Store or via Google Support here.

iOS Subscription

This cannot be done through the app and must be done in the settings of the user who signed up for the subscription on their Apple device. Detailed instructions can be found here.
