03 Chores

It’s time to get organized! Chores is a great place to begin. To create a new chore, first find the chores button on the navigational menu at the bottom of the screen then tap the Add Task button on the Chores screen.

Here are some the things you can do with Chores:

  • Set up recurring chores with flexible schedules—choose daily, specific days of the week, or monthly. For even more flexibility, Premium users can create a custom repeat interval (such as every two weeks) using the advanced options button after selecting weekly.
  • Add one-time chores and choose the exact date for completion.
  • Enable notifications for chore reminders (Premium feature). See Notifications.
  • Create chore lists for each family member to ensure tasks are properly distributed.

Additional Chore Features

  • By default, child profiles cannot create chores, but you have the option to enable this feature in Permissions. Navigate to Settings > Family > Permissions, then simply adjust the setting for your child’s profile. In the free version, parents can enable this by using the teenager preset, while Premium users can use the same teenager preset or adjust settings more to a child’s needs.
  • Premium users have the option to set custom reward amounts. While the app automatically assigns rewards for completing and checking off chores, parents can adjust the reward value when creating or editing a task.
  • Chores can be added to Plans (Premium), allowing you to break larger projects into manageable tasks.
  • Premium users also have access to Reports, where parent profiles can track completed chores. Reports are accessible from the Chores screen by selecting the clipboard icon in the top right corner.
