How to Make a Linked User into a Standard or Parent

Method 1: Email Invitation (Quickest)

1. Open Settings
2. Go to Family → Family Members
3. Find the user’s name in the list
4. Select Invite Member
5. Enter the user’s email address
6. Tap Send

The user will get an email with instructions to create their own login.

Method 2: Share a Link

1. Open Settings
2. Go to Family → Family Members
3. Find the user’s name in the list
4. Select Invite Member
5. Choose Link → Copy
6. Paste the link into a text or email and send it to the user

The user can click the link to set up their own login.

Important: When you add a new user with Teenager or Parent permissions, the permissions you set won’t fully apply until that person sets up their own profile with a username and password. In other words, a profile can’t have Parent-level access unless it has its own login.
